The Reconnect Retreat
21–23 May 2027 | Roulotte Retreat, Scottish Borders
You’ve decided you want to come.
Now for the fun bit.
Each roulotte at Roulotte Retreat is completely different, so you can choose the space that feels most like you.
Some are bold and colourful.
Some are quiet and tucked away.
Some come with their own private copper bath or sauna.
And if you’d rather share, there are also beautiful shared accommodation options available.
Your accommodation price includes the full Reconnect Retreat weekend, all workshops, Hypopressives, TRE®, Gemma Gilmour’s mindset session, meals, refreshments and studio time.
Choose your space below.
Stables Accommodation
If you love the idea of the retreat but would rather stay in more traditional accommodation, there are also spaces available in the cottage/stables.
Guests staying here are still fully part of the retreat and have access to all workshops, meals and studio sessions.
There is also an outdoor eco sauna nearby which may be available to book separately during the weekend.
Gitana
Private Roulotte with Wood-Fired Copper Bath
£1,050
-
Gitana is possibly one of the most magical roulottes on the meadow.
With walnut carvings of wild strawberries, hidden fairies, butterflies and leaping hares, plus coloured butterfly windows that throw beautiful light through the space, she has a wonderfully bohemian feel.
Outside, you’ll have your own deep copper bath, heated by a wood-burning stove and tucked away in a secluded position in the meadow.
Inside there is a double bed, wood-burning stove, sofa and table, kitchen area, shower and private washroom.
Perfect if your idea of retreat heaven involves finishing the day, disappearing back to your roulotte and climbing into a hot outdoor bath.
Private occupancy — £1,050
Early bookings can be spread across 8 monthly payments of £131.25.
Maharani
Private Roulotte with Eco Sauna

Inspired by Rajasthan and described as the Roulotte Retreat version of the Palace on Wheels, Maharani is rich, colourful and beautifully ornate.
Elephants, lotus carvings, silk sari curtains and deep purples and greens make this one feel particularly special.
And Maharani has something rather lovely outside too — her own wood-fired eco sauna, complete with a panoramic window looking across the meadow.
Inside you’ll find a queen-size bed, wood-burning stove, sofa and table, kitchen area, shower and private washroom.
A very good choice if you like the idea of retreating to your own sauna at the end of the day.

Inside, reds, charcoal and gold create a warm, cosy space with an Oriental daybed, queen-size carved roulotte bed, kitchen area, shower and private washroom.
Outside, hidden beside the roulotte, is your own wood-fired copper bath.
The tub is fired ready for arrival, with extra fuel for your stay and bathrobes provided.
Ideal if you want somewhere peaceful to disappear to between sessions.

Karlotta sits in a secluded part of the meadow with lovely views across the lochan and towards the sunset.
Inside you’ll find a double bed, wood-burning stove, sofa and table, kitchen area, shower and private washroom.
A gorgeous choice if you want your own space without the additional spa facility.

Shared Roulotte
Rosa Bella
Shared Roulotte — 2 Spaces
£695 per person
-
Rosa Bella is colourful, quirky and wonderfully bohemian.
Filled with jewel colours, oriental rugs, lace curtains and a wood-burning stove, she is also one of the more spacious roulottes.
There are two separate double sleeping spaces — a double bedroom and a romantic double alcove bed — making Rosa a great option if you’re happy to share but still want to stay in one of the beautiful roulottes.
There is also a kitchen area and wetroom with shower, toilet and wash basin.
Two spaces available.
£695 per person
Early bookings can be spread across 8 monthly payments of approximately £86.88.
Shared Horseshoe cottage room
2 Spaces
£695 per person
-
A comfortable shared room within the cottage/stables accommodation.
This is a good option if you’re happy to share and would prefer a more traditional bedroom rather than a roulotte.
You’ll have access to the cottage facilities, including bathroom, kitchen and communal areas.

Private Horseshoe cottage room
Private Room
£950
-
If you want your own room but don’t need your own roulotte, this is the perfect middle ground.
You’ll have a private bedroom within the cottage/stables accommodation, with access to the shared cottage facilities and communal spaces.
One private room available.

Early bookings can be spread across 8 monthly payments of £118.75.
Ruby Bowtop
Private Gypsy Bowtop — Your Own Little Hideaway
£850
-
Ruby is something completely different.
An authentic Gypsy Bowtop tucked away in her own woodland garden beneath the Scots pine trees, she is smaller and simpler than the roulottes — but wonderfully private.
This is the one for you if your idea of luxury is less about having everything inside your room and more about having your own tiny hideaway under the stars.
Traditional Bowtop caravans were designed to make ingenious use of a very small space, with the bed tucked into the far end of the wagon and storage built beneath it. Ruby keeps that cosy, authentic feel.
You’ll have your own private sleeping space and woodland setting, looking out towards the meadow and the Eildon Hills.
Bathroom and shower facilities are in the retreat studio, approximately a two-minute walk away, so Ruby is best suited to someone who doesn’t mind popping outside to reach them.
Ruby also has shared access to the eco sauna at Horseshoe Cottage, giving you a lovely little spa element without the higher price of one of the private spa roulottes.
In return, you get something none of the other accommodation offers in quite the same way:
your own tiny caravan beneath the trees, the night sky outside your door, and a little bit of magic all to yourself.
Private occupancy — £850
Early bookings can be spread across 8 monthly payments of £106.25.
Frequently Asked Questions-
Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy
The Reconnect Retreat is a small event with very limited accommodation, and each roulotte or room is reserved specifically for the person who books it.
I completely understand that life sometimes changes and you may find that you can no longer attend. If that happens, please let me know in writing as soon as possible.
If You Need to Cancel
The following cancellation charges will normally apply:
More than 120 days before the retreat
Any payments made will be refunded, less a £100 cancellation and administration charge.Between 120 and 61 days before the retreat
Up to 50% of the total retreat price may be retained.Between 60 and 31 days before the retreat
Up to 75% of the total retreat price may be retained.30 days or fewer before the retreat
Up to 100% of the retreat price may be retained. These cancellation charges are intended to reflect the costs and losses associated with your cancellation, including accommodation and other commitments made in advance.
They are not intended to result in me being paid twice for the same retreat place.
You Can Transfer or Resell Your Place
If you can no longer attend, you are very welcome to find somebody else to take your place.
Please contact me before confirming the transfer so that I can update the booking and make sure I have all the necessary information for the new guest, including dietary requirements, emergency contact information and anything relevant to taking part safely in the retreat.
Where possible, please give me at least 7 days' notice of a transfer.
You can arrange repayment directly between yourself and the person taking your place.
I simply ask that the retreat place is not resold for more than the original price you paid.
Any replacement guest will need to agree to the retreat terms and conditions before the transfer is completed.
If changing the booking results in any genuine additional administrative or supplier costs, these may need to be passed on to you. I will always let you know about these before completing the transfer.
If I Resell Your Cancelled Place
If you don't want to find a replacement yourself, I will make reasonable efforts to resell your place where possible.
If I successfully resell your accommodation, I will reconsider the cancellation charge to take account of the money received from the replacement booking and any genuine costs or losses that I have still incurred.
In other words, I won't charge two people for the same retreat place.
If the replacement guest pays less than your original booking price, or I have incurred additional costs as a result of the cancellation, these may be deducted before calculating any refund due to you.
Any refund due will be made as soon as reasonably possible.
Payment Plans
Paying by instalments makes the retreat easier to budget for, but it does not change the overall cancellation terms.
If you cancel, any cancellation charge will be calculated against the full price of your retreat place, rather than simply the amount you have paid at that point.
If you have already paid more than the cancellation charge, the appropriate difference will be refunded.
If the applicable cancellation charge is greater than the amount you have paid to date, an outstanding amount may remain payable, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
Changing to a Different Guest
If you transfer your booking to somebody else, the accommodation booked remains the same unless I specifically agree otherwise.
For example, if you have booked Gitana, the new guest takes over the Gitana booking rather than automatically being able to choose another roulotte.
This is because each room and roulotte has different availability, facilities and pricing.
If I Have to Cancel the Retreat
If I have to cancel The Reconnect Retreat and I'm unable to provide the retreat as booked or offer you a suitable alternative, payments made to me for the retreat will be refunded in accordance with your statutory rights.
I cannot normally reimburse costs that you have arranged independently, such as travel or other accommodation before or after the retreat.
For this reason, I strongly recommend taking out suitable travel insurance when you book.
Significant Changes or Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Very occasionally, circumstances outside my control may mean that part of the retreat needs to change.
If a significant change affects the retreat, I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible, explain what has changed and let you know what options are available to you.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law or, where applicable, package travel legislation.
Travel Insurance
I strongly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance as soon as you book your retreat place.
Your policy should ideally include cover for circumstances that could prevent you attending, including illness, injury, family emergencies and other unexpected events.
Please check your individual policy carefully, as insurance cover differs between providers.
A Final Note
The cancellation policy isn't there to make life difficult if something goes wrong.
It is there because this is a very small retreat with only a handful of individual accommodation spaces, and I make financial commitments based on the bookings received.
If you find that you genuinely cannot come, please talk to me as early as possible.
Where I can reasonably resell your place, or you can find someone suitable to take it over, I will always try to find the fairest solution for everyone.
By booking The Reconnect Retreat, you confirm that you have read and accepted these cancellation, transfer and refund terms.

Roulotte Retreat is a beautiful rural venue, but it is important to know that it is not wheelchair accessible.
The accommodation is spread across meadow and woodland areas, with uneven ground, steps and outdoor paths between the roulottes, studio and facilities. Some bathrooms and spa areas also involve steps or restricted access.
Because of the nature of the site, it may not be suitable for anyone who requires step-free or wheelchair-accessible accommodation.
If you have mobility, balance or access needs and are unsure whether the retreat will work for you, please contact me before booking. I’m very happy to talk you through the venue, the distances between areas and what each accommodation option involves.
