    You’ll learn to safely activate and regulate your body’s natural tremor reflex,  the built-in reset for stress and tension release.

    Block of Four Sessions — £210

    Ideal for deeper integration and lasting change.

    Across four guided sessions, you’ll build confidence using TRE® and explore Somatic Release techniques tailored to your body’s rhythms.

    These can be delivered online or in person (at my studio in East Lothian) and can be solo, pair or small group sessions. Please let me know whether it will be more than just you at the booking time.

TRE® | The Body’s Natural Way to Let Go

Developed by Dr David Berceli, TRE® is a series of gentle movements that trigger your body’s natural tremor reflex. This is a neurogenic shaking response designed to release deep muscular tension and reset the nervous system.

It’s been used worldwide to help people safely unwind physical and emotional stress.

Somatic Release | Listening to the Body’s Wisdom

Somatic Release is the art of paying attention.
It’s a gentle, awareness-based practice that helps you sense, move, and release what words can’t reach.

No force, no pushing — just curiosity, noticing, and allowing.

Through guided exploration and micro-movement, the body unwinds old bracing patterns and remembers safety again.

It helps to:

  • Reduce chronic muscle holding and stress patterns

  • Support trauma recovery through nervous-system regulation

  • Restore natural mobility and posture

  • Create an inner sense of calm and presence

How the Nervous System Affects the Pelvic Floor

Your pelvic floor is part of your stress story.

When your body is in constant alert, the deep muscles of the pelvis, abdomen, and jaw tighten to “protect.” Over time, that protective holding can create discomfort, pelvic pain, or prolapse symptoms.

TRE® and Somatic Release help switch the system from fight-or-flight or freeze  to rest-and-restore and social engagement, allowing the pelvic floor — and the rest of you — to soften, re-hydrate, and rebuild from safety.
